We have loads of outdoor activities for active folks, and here the choices are many. The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad departs Dillsboro for places like Bryson City, the Nantahala Gorge and the Tuckasegee River.
Our cool mountain temperatures are the envy of all our southern neighbors. When driving through the mountains in the summer, we see a great many cars from Florida and Georgia. How they love to come to the mountains!
